We are honoured to welcome Prof. Herwig Verschueren as a keynote speaker at European Labour Mobility Congress 2026.
Professor of International and European Labour and Social Security Law at the University of Antwerp, Prof. Verschueren is one of Europe’s leading academic experts on:
• free movement of workers
• EU social security coordination
• labour rights of mobile EU citizens
• the legal position of migrating workers
From 1992 to 2004, he worked at the European Commission in the field of free movement and social security coordination. He is also an expert member of the European academic network “MoveS”.
His keynote will provide a high-level legal and institutional perspective on the future of labour mobility in Europe.
