UE PROJECTS

POSTING.STAT

Name of the project

POSTING.STAT – Enhancing the collection and analysis of national data on intra-EU posting

Duration

February 2021 – July 2022

Goals

POSTING.STAT is our largest Grant Project to date. As part of the project consortium, the Coordinator, HIVA-KU Leuven, has brought together universities and research centres from 10 different EU Member States to promote the principle of evidence-based policy-making through the collection and analysis of national microdata on project delegation.

The geographical scope of the Grant Project covers six main ‘sending’ Member States (Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, Slovenia and Luxembourg) and six main ‘receiving’ Member States (Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands and Luxembourg). The acquisition of administrative micro-data from the relevant public authorities, complemented by desk research and interviews with experts, resulted in the collection of the most accurate figures possible on the scale, characteristics and impact of the posting of workers within the European Union, both in the main receiving and sending Member States.

This Grant Project is part of the call for data collection and knowledge aggregation for evidence-based policy (‘evidence-based policy’).
