Goals

The new rules on the posting of workers provided for in the Revised Posting of Workers Directive came into force in 2018, but the moment when they became applicable in all the Member States (30th July 2020) aligned with the implementation period of the SYNERGY project. Therefore, the aim of the project was to analyse the process of transposing the Revised PWD into the legal systems of selected receiving Member States. The project resulted in the development of four information packages on the new posting rules in the sectors of construction services, live-in care services, transport services and industrial services. As a result 4 sector specific tool-kits have been developed. Country reports on the implementation of the Revised PWD and a final report with an analysis of the changes and a practical commentary to this Directive have been published.
